Santa Paws is based on the same rules as one of my very favorite Microgaming games, Kathmandu, so of course I like this game as well. There are several differences though, so it isn’t like playing the same game with a different name. This game has 5 Reel 20 payline game, with Free spins and mystery mulitpliers.

All Microgaming video slot games have a video lead-in.  Most I just click through to get to the game but I end up watching this one each time.

Santa Paws has a wild symbol, a scatter symbol, a free spin feature with mystery multiplier and an additional wild symbol added during free spins.

The Santa Bear is the wild symbol and can substitute for all other symbols in the game but the scatters. The scatter symbol is the penguin that waddles across the screen with a present when 2 or more scatters are present:

• 2 scatters pays 2x your bet,
• 3 scatters pays 3x your bet,
• 4 scatters pays 15x your bet and
• 5 scatters pays 100x your bet.

Three scatters will trigger the free spin bonus of 12 free spins; each spin has a mystery multiplier from 2x to 7x your bet.  The free spin feature can also be retriggered while in free spin mode. Also during the free spins Rudolph the Red Nosed Whale (yes, whale) becomes a wild symbol!
