If you're a fan of games that have a different style of gameplay, then the Graffiti: Block Pays slot is something you'll most likely want to check out. This title is available at Fugaso online casinos, and it does not use the traditional payline structure or even the "all ways" structure. Instead, you'll find yourself at a skate park with a large game board trying to match up symbols to get massive wins. This is a title with a ton of action, but if you're not into the fast-paced style of gameplay, you might want to find something that's a bit slower.
Slot Format
You can tell that this game is different from the very first time you look at it. There are a total of 30 symbols showing on the game board at any given time, and that's because there are six vertical columns and five horizontal rows of symbols. There are no paylines, however, because this game uses a different type of mechanic to determine wins. All wagers are multiples of 20 coins, and you can bet in multiples of up to 10 for as many as 200 coins wagered on each play. Coins themselves go from $0.01 at the minimum to $1 at the maximum, which makes the minimum bet value $0.20 with the maximum at $200.
The Payout Mechanic
As we mentioned above, there are no paylines in this game. Instead, you'll create connected "blocks" of symbols. You do this by having matching symbols that are adjacent to each other either horizontally or vertically. Diagonal connections do not count for the creation of blocks. If you make a block that includes at least nine symbols, then you'll get a payout in this game. However, there's a bit more to it than even that with the feature described below.
Re-spin Feature
Whenever you get at least nine symbols in a block, you'll be given a re-spin feature. The created blocks will hold in place while all of the other symbols spin to give you a chance to create an even larger block. If matching symbols land in position to expand the size of your block, then it will be added, and the newer, larger block will be held in place for yet another re-spin. This continues until there's a re-spin with no new additions to the block, and you'll be paid out for the value of the final block size based on the pay table.
Wild Question Mark Symbol
When the wild question mark appears on the game board, it will latch on to whichever block will help to give you the best payout. It doesn't substitute for multiple blocks like you might expect, and that makes this wild somewhat anti-intuitive. Just remember that it only counts for the best option, and you'll avoid any confusion.
Free Spins Feature
The free spins sign symbol is a scatter in this game. If you get three or more anywhere on the game board, you'll get free spins. Three, four, five or six of this sign will award nine, 10, 11 or 12 free turns, respectively. You can add on to the free spins count as well for an extra one, two, three or four free turns for between three and six free spins symbols during the bonus round, respectively, as well. Low-ranking symbols are dropped from the game board to make it easier to hit high-level wins in this feature.
Important Wins
The three animal symbols are the most important in the game. The tiger has the highest payouts, and the bulldog and cobra share slightly lower payouts. If you manage to get a block of 24 of these, you'll win 4,000x for the tigers or 2,000x for either the bulldog or cobra. These wins increase incrementally until you get up to the 30-symbol blocks, which award 10,000x for the tiger and 5,000x for the other two. These are very serious wins, but there are a few dozen ways you can pick up four-figure payouts in this game with the way the pay table is structured.
In Summary
The premise of the Graffiti: Block Pays slot by Fugaso is pretty solid, and it leads to a style of gameplay that is particularly exciting. It does have low-level graphics, but they aren't the focal point of the game, so it's not particularly important. Even compared to other games that use similar types of game mechanics, this one stands out because of the re-spin feature and the way the free spins are handled.
