A lot of different board games, video games, television shows, movies and other forms of media have been based on a land full of candy and giant treats. Lolly Land by Chance Interactive uses the same kind of setting, and the object is for you to win some pretty sweet treats for your bankroll. It has fairly solid graphics with a bright and vibrant feel, and the action is set up in a way to have a medium overall volatility. You don't have to be particularly fond of candy or sweets to enjoy this slot, however, as the gameplay completely stands on its own merit.
Slot Format
You'll see five reels with three horizontal rows of symbols when you first open this game up. The 25 paylines are numbered along the sides, and you can hover over any of the numbers to see that particular payline drawn out across the game. At the bottom, you'll see two options for adjusting your bet size. One allows you to adjust the number of paylines, but you should always keep that at 25. The other allows you to change your bet size per payline from $0.01 to $10 apiece. This means the minimum bet size per turn is $0.25, and the maximum is $250. Players will be able to easily pick a bet size that works for their bankroll.
Wild Jelly Bear Symbols
Each reel has wild jelly bears on them, and they help to get you extra winning combinations. They don't have their own payouts for combinations consisting completely of wilds, but that doesn't really matter with how the pay table is laid out since you can just assign them the same pays as the highest-paying regular symbol. They are a great choice of wild considering the theme of the game.
Free Spins With Multipliers Bonus Feature
The Lolly Land logo symbol also appears on every reel. It doesn't give you any payouts, but it does act as the bonus symbol. Three of a kind will get you 10 free spins, and four earns 12 free spins. A set of five of this logo symbol on the reels at the same time will earn a set of 15 free spins as well. During these free spins, you can earn more by getting three or more scatters on the reels at once, and you will have all of your wins multiplied by two during this feature.
Wild Respin Feature
The wild symbol doesn't substitute for scatters, but getting three or more on the reels will give you a special respin feature. One of the middle three reels will become completely wild, and the other four reels will respin three times to give you extra payouts. This is a cool way to add some extra excitement to the game and to reward players with more pays at the same time.
Taste Me Feature
The Taste Me Feature is won with three of the scattered Taste Me candy symbols. This is essentially a pick a box-style feature where you get an instant win worth up to 100 times your total bet size. This is like a line bet win worth up to 2,500x.
Top Payouts
The jelly beans will get you 1,000x for five of a kind, and they also pay for just two of a kind or more. Five of the popcicle treats will get you 800x, and five of the candy canes are good for 600x. You can also earn 400x for five of the lollipop symbol.
Our Thoughts
Lolly Land is a good example of Chance Interactive taking a lesser-used theme and doing something pretty cool with it. The gameplay is pretty good, and the graphics are solid with a different style than what you normally see, so there are some relaively unique components to this game. While there is nothing exactly groundbreaking about this slot, it does offer a good mix of different types of features with a balanced pay table to give players a fun, medium-volatility experience. With that having been said, there's nothing super outstanding about this game, so we have to rate it as being average to slightly above-average overall.
