If you thought combining fruit and space themes would be impossible, think again!

Well-known German software developer Merkur Gaming decided to take us to the center of our Solar system, so we could spin and try to line up some fruits in a winning combination.

At the first glance, the game may seem overly simplistic but, as many dedicated slot players would attest, unpretentious gameplay can sometimes offer you a better overall experience.

    In the backdrop, …

… you can see the reels are very close to the surface of the scalding Sun, burning bright and painting the atmosphere around it dark orange. The reels are colored black and the colorful fruits are really eye-catching as they contrast the dark background.

The soundtrack is a bit monotonous and generic, but it does pick up the pace once a winning combination has been made.

The design and graphics, although good, give off a retro feel.

    Betting Options and Symbols

The slot is played on a 5x3 grid and has 5 fixed pay-lines.

But, before you are allowed to press the spin button so close to the Sun, you need to set your bet.

The betting range goes from 0.05 up to 100 $ per spin.

    And what about the symbols?!

There are 7 of them in total on the reels of this title, and all except one are standard fruit icons.

The low – value icons are cherries, oranges, lemons, and plums. Cherry will get you 40 times your bet for getting 5 on the line while the rest of them will get you 50 times but cherry is the only symbol that will reward you 1 time your bet for 2 on the payline.

The high – value icons are watermelon, grape and the Blazing Sun itself. Grape and watermelon will reward you with 200 times your bet for lending five on the payline but the Blazing Sun is much more generous. It sits at the top of the paytable with 1.000 times your bet as a reward for getting 5 of them in the winning line.

    Special Features

This release goes with the mantra – what you see is what you get.

The only thing that can pass as a special feature is the Gamble option.

At the end of every winning spin, you’re given an option to collect your winnings or to gamble with them. If you decide to risk it, you will be offered two very simple mini-features.

The first one is the card game, where you have to guess if the hidden card is black or red. The second one is the Ladder gamble, where you have to press 1:1 button, and you’ll either step up the ladder or land on the lower valued step. The maximum win on both of these extras is 140 $.

Overall, it’s a simple slot with a retro vibe

This release is not really made for high rollers or those players who like lots of bonus features. Instead, it is suitable for those who enjoy spinning the reels with no interruptions. There are no scatter or wild symbols, no progressive jackpots, and only 5 paylines which may be the downside of this title. But, if you’re new to the world of fruit machines, this might be a good starting point for you.
