Theme and Symbols

Quest to the West by Betsoft gaming takes us across the mountains and seas all the way to the ancient temple set at the top of a hill among the cliffs and waterfalls.

And, the one leading us into the adventure is none other than one of the bravest legendary warriors, the Monkey King himself! 

The theme of this game is ancient Chinese history. 

The reels are set in a beautiful landscape on a scroll. 

The background looks amazing... 

You can see the temple at the top of a steep hill but the way to it remains hidden in the mist! 

There is a warrior on the right side of the reels, standing on a cliff with a princess.

You will also notice beautiful cherry blossoms on the right side of the reels... 

The graphics seem really nice in this game combined with an oriental tune, and it surely won't disappoint you.

To kick off with the list of symbols, we will start with the Monkey King symbol.

It acts both as Wild and Walking Wild but will also be used in the feature department which we will talk about in a moment.

Princes, Warriors, Pig Men Warriors, Lotus Flowers, Horses and Serpents are representing high to medium symbols.

Low paying symbols are, however, represented by a set of asian-styled royals A, Q, K, J and 10.

When you land 3 or more of the Monkey King Wilds you’ll trigger one of the features.

Quest to the West Feature - when you land 3 of the Monkey King Wilds you will trigger this feature and a respin will follow.

The symbol will then move 1 reel to the left and another respin follows.

It will keep repeating the process until the walking wild leaves the reel.

If new monkey king wild lands during this feature, it will extend further on.

Meter of the Heavens Feature - this feature is connected to the previously mentioned one.

You’ll notice a meter aside from the reels, each time a monkey king symbol leaves the reels it will fill the meter.

When the meter is fully filled, a fixed jackpot of 1,000x the bet is awarded to you.

The meter consists of 15 segments, which means that 15 monkey king symbols are required to fill it.
