Play N Go is known for using typical themes from online slots and putting their own spin on things, no pun intended. With the Prissy Princess slot, you're getting this same type of setup where it uses a medieval theme with dragons and knights, but the gameplay and the approach for the overall motif are much different than what you're likely used to. It helps to create a high hit-rate experience that is built on normal gameplay features that influence every single spin, and this is much different than the typical features you see in games with this theme that are based on getting bonus rounds once per session, if you're lucky.

    Game Format

The basic format here is possibly the most common that you'll find anywhere in the video slots genre. It uses five reels and three rows with 20 paylines. Players choose a total bet size from a range of available wagers shown in a list across the bottom of the screen, and it runs from $0.20 to $100 per spin. Players at all different levels will be able to find bet sizes that fit into their bankrolls in a comfortable way, which is something that Play N Go is really great about in all of their games.

    The Crumbling Towers Feature

The Crumbling Towers feature is an atypical twist on the cascade features that you'll see in a lot of modern video slots. Whenever you make a winning combination, every reel that was used in that combination will completely disappear after crumbling to the ground, and an entirely new reel will fall down into its place to give you what amounts to a free re-spin. The only reels that stay in place are the ones that were not used as a part of a winning combination.

As if free re-spins like this weren't interesting enough, there's an added Treasure Chest feature thrown into the mix. If you make it to a win on your fourth re-spin with the Crumbling Towers feature, then you don't get any extra re-spins. Instead, a treasure chest with a series of locks on it (displayed at the top of the screen) is opened, and you get a random payout worth up to 100 times your total bet. Alternatively, you can get an extra multiplier on your total win from the Crumbling Towers feature worth up to 5x. These are some pretty sizable payouts regardless of which one you get.

    Dragon-Based Wild Features

There are dragons in this game, and they help you to get winning combinations you would otherwise miss out on by adding wilds. If you get a reel full of three knights, then the Dragon's Pride feature will trigger. This causes that entire reel to become filled with dragon wild symbols. Alternatively, if you get a spin with no wins on it, you'll randomly have a chance to trigger the Dragon's Breath feature. In this feature, a dragon flies by and shoots up to three random wild fire symbols onto the reels to give you chances to win.

    Tournament Feature

If you get all three scatters (the blue lion, the green fox and the purple bear) during the Crumbling Towers feature, then you'll be taken to the tournament feature. You pick a competitor and watch them fight it out, and you get up to 200 times your bet in winnings depending on how they do.

    Top Prizes

The princess is wild, and she substitutes for anything but the scatter. Five of a kind gets you 50 times your total bet. Five of the blue knight earns 15x, five of the knight with the yellow background pays 12.50x, and five of the green knight gets players a 10x win. Six other symbols give you between 5x and 2x for five of a kind apiece.

    In Summary

Play N Go has done a good job of putting together a solid game with atypical features with Prissy Princess. It has a bit of a funny slant on things without becoming silly, and it's completely jam-packed with features that affect gameplay on every spin. This is a game we definitely recommend for players because of how strong the gameplay elements are, but the graphics aren't bad at all either. Overall, it's been developed in a way to appeal to a large audience while using a theme that many people would mistakenly think would lead to a boring game.
