Welcome to the ship of sea criminals!

The Caribbean island is the place where notorious thieves are at war with the British Royal Navy and are also fighting amongst each other for domination over these tropical waters.

But there is an even bigger problem rising on the horizon!

The giant octopus has emerged and is threatening to sink their ships. The only way of defeating this monster is for captains to join forces.

In the backdrop of the reels …

… we can see the beautiful ship being attacked by a giant octopus. With enormous tentacles, it is trying to trap the ship and sink it to the bottom of the ocean. The heavy rain is making the whole situation even worse. Barrels of precious rum are unfortunately already lost in the ocean water.

The soundtrack is intense and it has a certain epic vibe, but it also follows the theme perfectly.

The reels are held together by tight boating knots.

Special Features

One of them is the Abyss and every time this icon shows on the reels, one of the octopod’s tentacles crosses over the grid and changes the Abyss into some random symbol. It’s important to know that the Abyss cannot change into the Scatter.

The Scatter is represented by the old compass and when triggered, it turns into a map. When you land three or more scatters in one spin, the bonus rounds get activated and you are rewarded with 10 bonus spins. During this feature, the Scatter doesn’t appear which means that re-triggering is not possible.

Conclusion

All in all, it’s a standard, but dynamic slot with great graphics.

Symbols are beautifully done, and attention given to details is noticeable. Animations are wonderful and make the gameplay more immersive. Bonus spins are always a nice addition, although the fact they can’t get re-triggered is a definite downside.
