    Deuces Wild Video Poker Highlights

In Deuces Wild, there is a 52-card deck in play, and no jokers. But there are indeed wild cards - as the name implies, all the deuces (2's) are wild.

Players are dealt five cards at the outset, and then decide which cards to "hold" before clicking the "draw" button, which automatically discards the unheld cards and deals new ones to the player. The deck is of course reshuffled before each round of play.

Because the wild cards are present, the payouts are a little different from a Jacks or Better game. Here is the full pay, based on the recommended five-coin bet:

    • Royal Flush -- 4000
    • Straight Flush -- 65
    • 4 of a Kind -- 20
    • Full House -- 15
    • Flush -- 10
    • Straight -- 10
    • 3 of a Kind -- 5

With four wild cards available, the winnings start paying at Three of a Kind. There are other bonus payouts. Five of a Kind, achievable with the wild cards, pays 80 coins; the Wild Royal flush pays 125, and Four Deuces pays 1000. The highest payout is 4000 for a Royal Flush (only 250 with a one-coin bet). The payouts on the other winning hands (Straight Flush, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight) are comparatively much smaller than usual.

Players can use coin denominations of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 50 cents, $1, $2 and $5. That means, on five coins, the maximum bet is $25.
