Online casino software and game developer, Microgaming, has used the platform at iGB Live! this week to announce that one of their most popular properties, Jungle Jim, will return for another adventure after the massively successful El Dorado outing.

Last time we saw Jungle Jim

He was trawling through the Amazon jungle searching for the lost city of treasure El Dorado in a 5x3 slot game with twenty-five paylines.

Now the sequel, Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is upping the ante in a major way. Developed by Stormcraft Studios, the follow-up will be bigger and better with a 5x5 layout and 50 ways to win.

Another Hit from Stormcraft:

Microgaming has high hopes for the new release as the studio developing it was already behind some very successful games like Fortunium, Agent Jane Blonde Returns, and Dragon Shard.

Just as a reminder, Fortunium was also a 5x5 slot but with 40 paylines and a steampunk theme and with mystery stacked wilds and a win booster feature.

Taking Center Stage at iGB Live!

The new project by the independent Stormcraft studio will take center stage at Microgaming’s stand iGB Live! in Amsterdam.

iGB Live! 2019 is taking place in Amsterdam and is the most hotly anticipated yearly iGaming event. Industry heavyweights will come together from the 16th to the 19th of July at RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The organizer of the event is iGaming Business, one of the leading provider of casino content and news.

More than 650 companies are slated to gather this year to show off their products.

Interested attendees will be able to preview and demo the visuals of the upcoming sequel to Jungle Jim El Dorado at Microgaming’s stall which the company has branded to celebrate the return of Jungle Jim.

Attendees will also be treated with ice cream from a selection of ten flavors, inspired by the hot titles the company hopes to publish in 2019.

Jean-Luc Ferriere, Chief Commercial Officer at Microgaming, commented on the upcoming November release:

“Given the success and popularity of Jungle Jim El Dorado, we are really looking forward to teasing the iconic character's next outing, this week at iGBLive! The new game includes outstanding artwork and entertaining mechanics, including the popular Rolling Reels™ feature, and Stormcraft Studios have set a new benchmark in visual storytelling in our industry.”

Busy Month:

In the run-up to the conference, Microgaming has had several pieces of exciting news to share.

First, they announced their new take on the most popular detective of all time with Sherlock of London. Developed by the famous studio Rabcat, it adapts the adventures of Sherlock Holmes into a fun and exciting 5x3 slot game.

And in amazing and astonishing news, Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network paid out 89 million euros in the first half of 2019 making eight lucky punters into millionaires.
