A player at Unibet hit a jackpot worth €7,742,015.53 on Microgaming Sytems' Mega Moolah progressive slot machine last week. According to a press release from MGS, it was the second biggest jackpot this year, just slightly missing the record for 2017 set by a player on mobile in April who won €8 million.

The lucky spin happened on Monday 25 September 2017, a day that will live in the player's mind forever. Equally exciting is the fact that Microgaming pays out jackpots from their progressive network in a lump sum, rather than in smaller installments.

Makes the Hard Work Worthwhile

Unibet's casino head, Cristiano Blanco said: "We are absolutely delighted to hear that one of our customers has managed to win the jackpot on our main Unibet brand. We at Kindred Group strive every day to deliver a safe and entertaining experience for our players across all our brands, and when one of them wins in this way, it, of course, makes the hard work worthwhile."

Available on Quickfire

Microgaming progressives are available at stand-alone casinos using only the company's software and at multi-platform casinos who subscribe to Microgaming's Quickfire amalgamator platform which carries games from several developers. Since inception, the network has paid out some €783 million.

Fifth Largest MGS Jackpot Ever

Giving kudos to both the player and the casino, David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming, added: "This is our fifth largest jackpot win to date! Many congratulations to our Quickfire operator Unibet and their lucky player on this amazing win."
