Yggdrasil Presents New Video Slot Temple Stacks with Innovative Splitz Mechanic

Game developer, Yggdrasil, is releasing a new game with a totally innovative payline mechanic and right in time for ICE London 2020.

Temple Stacks Splitz has an Aztec-inspired theme and is the first game to contain the innovative Splitz mechanic.

What is Splitz?

It’s a new approach to dynamic reel gameplay that Yggdrasil has cooked up.

It works by having mystery stacks appear randomly on the reels during the base game and extra spins.

These stacks can contain up to 12 symbols this extending the number of possible ways to win.

The grid starts out in a 5x3 arrangement that is standard for video slots but the mystery reels quickly transform it. In this way, the maximum number of bet ways rises to an astronomical 248,832 from the beginning 243.

Then there are the extra spins…

…which also bring a unique twist to the proceedings.

That’s because there are four different levels to unlock as you play the game. There are Steel, Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.

One level is unlocked each time the three scatters hit the reels.

It’s an innovative system that lets players choose the ratio of extra spins to the maximum size of the mystery stack.

The more extra spins the less symbols in the stack. This lets players choose to have more spins or opt for the more lucrative reels with many more symbols.

More Innovation at ICE London 2020

It’s not just new releases that the developer is preparing for their showcase at one of the largest B2B igaming expos in the world.

They are also launching a Publishing arm of the business. Future customers will now be able to license any elements of the company’s ecosystem. YG Franchise will let their partners license the platform intellectual property while YG Masters allows for the licensing of game development and distribution.

Finally, with YG Game IP interested parties will be able to license game intellectual property.

The company will present this all this and more at Stand N3-140 during ICE London 2020 which takes place between the 4^th and 6^th of February.
