Scrooges Bah Humbucks Workshop Riches

Scrooge’s Bah Humbucks: Workshop Riches from Rival takes inspiration from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge and other familiar figures from the story appear in a Victorian London setting decorated for the festive season.

The game combines a conventional reel format with coin collection, bonus rounds, and fixed jackpots. Its maximum payout is 10,000x the bet, while medium-high volatility gives players reason to expect some variation in results.

Theme and Symbols

Snow-covered streets and Christmas shopfronts establish the setting, with characters including Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and Mr. Fezziwig featured on the reels. Card ranks fill the lower-value symbol positions, providing a standard set of symbols alongside the story's main characters.

Scrooge himself appears as a stacked Wild symbol on the middle reels. This symbol can replace regular paying symbols to help form winning combinations. The visual approach sticks to recognisable holiday-slot conventions, while the Ghost Coin collection system gives the game its main gameplay distinction.

Betting Options and Special Features

This online slot uses five reels and three rows, with 50 fixed paylines. Wins form from left to right, beginning on the first reel, when matching symbols appear on consecutive reels along an active payline.

Rival lists an RTP of 96.13% and a hit frequency of 25%, alongside medium-high volatility. The RTP represents the game's theoretical long-term return, not a prediction of what an individual session will produce. Similarly, the hit frequency does not indicate how often substantial payouts will land. The maximum win is capped at 10,000x the stake, giving players a clear figure to consider when assessing the game's potential.

The main feature is Xtreme Power Pots, which revolves around Ghost Coins collected during regular play. Coins can land on the reels and move into three pots above the grid, named Past, Present, and Future. Their collection can activate eight bonus rounds with different combinations of modifiers.

Two coin types introduce distinct effects. Blue Ghost Coins activate Sticky Wilds that stay in their positions throughout the bonus round. Red Ghost Coins trigger a feature that removes the lower-paying card symbols, leaving character symbols available on the reels. These effects can combine when multiple pots activate in the same round.

The Gold Ghost Pot is associated with five fixed jackpot prizes: Mini, Minor, Maxi, Major, and Grand. Together, the pots and their associated features give the game several possible bonus outcomes, rather than relying on a single type of special round.

Conclusion

Scrooge’s Bah Humbucks: Workshop Riches is an online slot by Rival that brings Dickens’ Christmas story to a traditional 5x3 slot format, with its strongest distinguishing feature being the interaction between Ghost Coins, collection pots, and bonus modifiers. Sticky Wilds, the removal of lower-paying symbols, and five jackpot levels provide variety beyond the base game.

The 96.13% RTP, medium-high volatility, and 10,000x maximum win offer useful points of reference for players weighing up the maths. The game may appeal to fans of seasonal slots who prefer character-based themes and collection mechanics alongside familiar paylines.
