Evolution Removes Underperforming RNG Casino Games

Evolution, a leading name in the online casino industry, has announced its decision to decommission a series of online casino games from its extensive portfolio. This decision, which will take effect later this month, stems from the low commercial performance and limited engagement demonstrated by these titles.

As outlined in a notification sent out to its partners, Evolution will officially remove these games from all platforms, markets, and systems, including both Legacy and OSS systems, on May 28 at 10 am CET. This move affects several games primarily from Evolution's RNG division, notably from the NetEnt and Red Tiger brands.

List of Games Scheduled for Removal

The games slated for removal primarily include titles from the well-known NetEnt brand. Some of these titles include popular names such as Happy Panda, Sparks, and Twin Spin Deluxe. Also featuring on the list are niche-focused games like Bollywood Story and Witchcraft Academy.

In addition to these, Steam Squad, a slot released under the Red Tiger brand, will also be removed. Evolution has reached out to its partners, requesting them to remove any promotional content linked with these games, as they will no longer be available to players post-decommission.

Reasons Behind the Decision to Decommission

The decision from Evolution to withdraw these titles is attributed to 'poor performance and low player count,' as stated in their communication. Every version of the affected games, regardless of market configuration or Return to Player (RTP) settings, will be removed. This serves as part of a broader strategy within the casino industry to phase out underperforming titles and refocus on newer and more active games.

Evolution has made clear that support for any ongoing game rounds and related assistance will continue even after these games go offline. Partners have been encouraged to direct any questions regarding this process to Evolution's RNG Operations support channel directly.
