High Roller Teams Up with Playtech for Canadian Launch

High Roller Technologies has formed a strategic collaboration with Playtech, setting the stage for its entry into Ontario's regulated iGaming sector. The partnership is crafted to elevate the online casino experience by leveraging Playtech’s well-established technological capabilities. This announcement marks a significant milestone in High Roller’s growth strategy, as its main platform, HighRoller.com, is anticipated to launch in the latter half of 2025, awaiting approval from regulatory bodies.
Ontario, known for attracting new operators and high-profile alliances due to its robust regulatory framework and a burgeoning community of online gaming enthusiasts, stands to gain from High Roller's debut. The market in the Canadian province showed impressive numbers, clocking in CA$82.7 billion in total wagers and generating $3.2 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
Playtech's Strategic Alliance with High Roller
In this new partnership, Playtech will be the technological backbone for High Roller's operations in Ontario. With its vast experience supporting operators across over 40 regulated markets globally, Playtech is considered a crucial element in High Roller's venture into Ontario’s vibrant gambling environment.
Ben Clemes, CEO of High Roller Technologies, underscored the partnership's significance, saying, “Collaborating with Playtech in Ontario is an exciting step for High Roller as we continue to grow and evolve. Playtech’s well-established technology will be instrumental to our mission of providing a world-class entertainment experience for our players.”
High Roller has already submitted an application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to secure an Internet Gaming Operator license. Upon approval, it will signal the start of operations for one of the iGaming market’s eagerly awaited brands.
Clemes added, “Ontario is missing an elegant brand like High Roller. We’re excited to roll out the red carpet for our new customers, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our tremendous product.”
Playtech's Expanding Influence in North America
Sergey Harutyunyan, Playtech’s Chief Revenue Officer, noted their enthusiasm about the venture, stating, “We are delighted to partner with High Roller as they expand into Ontario. Playtech’s technology is designed to support operators in regulated markets, and we look forward to working together to provide High Roller’s players with safe, innovative, and engaging gaming experiences.”
This arrangement enhances Playtech’s growing footprint in regulated markets, building on recent successes such as deploying more than 120 bingo platforms in the UK with ProgressPlay and launching Eyecon titles in Ontario with SkillOnNet.
The expanding presence of Playtech underscores its dedication to compliance and innovation, aligning with the demands for secure, scalable, and entertaining gaming environments in regions like Ontario. Anticipation is building for High Roller’s official debut in late 2025, as the company considers additional Canadian expansion, with potential licensing pursuits in Alberta.
Boasting a portfolio of over 5,000 games and a commitment to high-quality, engaging content, High Roller is positioning itself as a prominent figure in the North American iGaming sector.
