Mr Green Proactive on Problem Gambling; New Tool

Mr Green Casino announced today that is has launched a predictive tool to help players gain insight into potentially risky gambling behaviors. Casino managers can also use the Green Gaming tool to detect when players may be moving from healthy entertainment into risk.

The tool will first be available to Mr Green's UK customers before rolling out to other markets in the fall.

Hybrid Data Includes Player Input

The unique tool not only takes into account a player's own perception of their risky behaviors, it combines that information with data it gathers in actual game play to analyze a bigger picture. With the player supplied component involved the tool can give personalized insights and offer analyses of potentially risky behaviors.

The information will also allow Mr Green to adjust the sort of offers it delivers and craft communications based on the individual's actions. Players may be asked to modify any self-imposed limits or asked to step back altogether for a certain amount of time. When it seems prudent, the casino will also cease advertising and sales messaging to players who may be at risk.

For now, the tool is only available for casino betting but is expected to be integrated into the Mr Green sports book later.

Limit Setting, Time Outs, Risk Assessment

Sweden has been a pioneer in the realm of pre-commitment self-monitoring and control including limit setting and timeouts. The Green gambling tool was developed together with Sebastian Gassner and Sustainable Interaction of Lund, Sweden.

Gassner is an Independent Software Consultant who studied at both the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and the Chalmers University of Technology. He is recognized as an expert in responsible gaming technical development. Sustainable Interaction develops diagnostic tools and digital products for use in the responsible gaming and psycho-social health fields.
