EGT Digital, a casino and gaming technology provider, has announced that it has received authorization to operate in Sweden. The provider has received a license from Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Authority, allowing it to supply its portfolio of gaming services in the country.

What This Means for the Industry

The license from the Swedish Gambling Authority grants the casino software company permission to manufacture, provide, install, and modify software for the online gambling industry and the online casinos in Sweden. All the games from the Bulgarian provider are now available to the Swedish market, including the X-Nave platform and the in-house developed games.

EGT Digital’s casino software portfolio consists of over 120 casino games content, including jackpot titles such as Bell Link, High Cash, Clover Chance, and Single Progressive Jackpot. The all-in-one Nave betting platform enables operators to establish and grow a successful online business.

This includes four main modules, Sport Product, CRM Engine, Gaming Aggregator, and Payment Gateway, offering personalized content adjusted to each player’s tastes and requirements.

EGT Digital is currently live in more than 50 jurisdictions around the world and are providing a variety of game choices for different types of players and gaming styles.

Comments from EGT Digital’s Head of Sales

Tsvetomira Drumeva, Head of Sales at EGT Digital, commented: “Obtaining this license is an important step for us. Thanks to it, we have the opportunity to enter the Swedish market, which is a top priority for us. This will allow us to continue our expansion into other European countries and consolidate our status as one of the preferred iGaming providers on the continent.”

Management at EGT Digital has stated that part of the business objective is to expand throughout the regulated markets in Europe.

Just recently, EGT Digital entered the Brazilian gaming market as the authorities in the Latin American country launched its newly regulated online legislative framework to update the region's gambling laws. In addition to this, the provider also obtained a license from Peru from the country’s regulators MINCETUR last year.
