NICOSIA, Cyprus, September 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Playtech (Cyprus) Ltd., the international designer, developer and licensor of software for the gambling industry, a subsidiary company of Playtech Ltd (LSE: PTEC – News), listed on AIM, announced today the signing of a license agreement with 1st Technology LLC.
The license agreement is in relation to 1st Technology’s core multimedia patents applied to advanced online gaming products. The patents, developed by multimedia pioneer Dr. Scott Lewis, CEO of 1st Technology, are targeted at providing enhanced interactivity and optimized delivery of high quality multimedia information over networks of various bandwidths including narrowband and broadband telephone, cable, and wireless Internet.
Dr. Lewis, commenting on the agreement, said: “We are delighted that industry leader Playtech is now a licensee. Our new relationship will allow us to develop superior gaming products to the market using 1st Technology’s internationally recognized patent portfolio.”
Playtech has signed a deal to supply Jumpman Gaming with bingo games, strengthening its partnership with the casino chain. According to the agreement, Jumpman will add its latest partner’s content to its library of games. The deal includes games from the Age of the Gods series and a set of 9 games such as Tiki Paradise: Masks of Mayhem and Fruity Burst.
Delighted to Extend Partnership
Playtech announced its latest partnership deal with Flutter Entertainment, linking to a live casino studio for the Sky Betting and Gaming brand, Sky Vegas. The new specialized studio will be located at Playtech Live Studios in Riga. On the first launch, Sky Vegas Live Casino will include live blackjack and roulette from Playtech, which allow a limitless number of players to enjoy the content.
Playtech is delighted to announce the roll-out of its online casino in New Jersey via BetMGM’s gaming network for the first time. According to the deal, the supplier will deliver its own leading iGaming casino software to the venue.
