There is a rich history of movies that feature big monsters coming and terrorizing a big city, knocking over buildings and causing chaos. The King of Kaiju: Rampage Riches slot by Lost World Games captures the look and feel of those films with a comic book-style aesthetic to give players a ton of excitement and suspense on the reels. This is a feature-driven game with multiple bonus features and a somewhat high volatility, so you'll want to adjust your bet sizes accordingly before you get in on the action

Slot Format

The format for this game is all about giving you a solid foundation for a ton of action. This comes in the form of 20 paylines that pay from left to right only across five reels and three rows. With the dials in the center of the bottom of the screen, you'll be able to pick from total bet sizes only. There are no options for individual coin sizes or numbers of coins on each line. You also won't be able to change how many paylines there are activated in the game either, so it'll always be set at 20.

The smallest bet size available is $0.20, which corresponds to $0.01 wagered on each line for each spin. You can bet up to $400 per turn, though some casinos may lower this down to somewhere in the range of $100. It just depends on which site you're playing with. Regardless, there's no doubt that there are bet sizes available that fit every level of bankroll.

Scattered Bonus Symbols

You can get the Rampage bonus game by getting all three of the bonus symbols on the reels at the same time. This symbol has a three-headed dragon flying up above the city with a golden border. This feature has you picking from different options to take down some instant wins, and it's a fun way to incorporate the theme into an interactive element of the game as a whole.

Free Spins Bonus Feature

When you get all three of the free spins features (reels two, three and four only) on the reels, you're given a payout worth your total bet amount, and you're given five free spins. Extra wilds are added to the first three reels to make these free spins more valuable, and then you can re-trigger the feature as well by getting all three of them on the reels again.

Wild Symbols and Exploding Extra Wilds

If you like getting extra wilds all over the game board, then this is a feature that will appeal to you. Whenever you get a wild on the reels on the middle reel and it shows up golden instead of the normal colors, then you'll have up to five extra wilds hit the reel as a part of the exploding extra wilds feature.

Aside from that, the wild is an exploding rock that gives you 500x for five, 100x for four and 60x for three. These are solid payouts that are the same as the other top-paying symbol.

Payouts and Prizes

The blue eyeball on the black monster pays 500x for five of a kind, and the pay schedule drops slightly to 300x for five of the claws coming through the wall. You can also earn 200x for five of the glowing green egg in the sewers, and the giant footprint on the city sidewalk earns players 150x for five of a kind.

All of the card rank symbols are displayed in a red and yellow font. The more yellow on the letters, the higher the ranking is. Five of a kind of the A symbol gets you 100x. The wins for the K, Q and J are 80x, 70x and 60x, respectively, for five on a payline. Five of the 10 gets 40x.

Our Thoughts

The look and feel of the King of Kaiju: Rampage Riches slot is tremendous. Lost World Games has obviously put a lot of work into this game to make sure that it has an awesome presentation, and there's no denying that it captures every bit of the mood that the older monster films would bring you. Aside from that, the gameplay is pretty solid as well, and the mix of different features and a balanced pay table come together to give players ways to win at every level. We would have liked to see the low-end pays be a bit higher, but that's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things for this title.
