And you thought this game was only available in National Lampoonâs âVegas Vacationâ! The object of this game is very simple, you are dealt a card and if itâs higher than the dealerâs card you win.
To say the least, it doesnât take a rocket scientist to play this game. If the card you are dealt is the same as the dealerâs (i.e. 7 vs. 7) then you each are dealt three cards face down (unless you choose to fold your initial bet).
The fourth card is placed up and whoever has the highest card wins. Again, you donât have to be a rocket scientist to play this game.
As Player.
The player has the option of choosing 3 tables either public or private:
- 1 â Minimum bet of $2 / Maximum bet of $100
- 2 â Minimum bet of $5 / Maximum bet of $200
- 3 â Minimum bet of $25 / Maximum bet of $350
War is played with six decks and no Jokers, and the decks are reshuffled after each hand so unless you are a savant there isnât a much of a strategy to this game.
As Dealer.
Be The Dealer offers you the option of being the dealer in the game of War although Iâm unsure about any advantage by being the dealer in this game.
I think this is more of a personal taste like your preference for being on the top or the bottom if you know what I mean.
In order to play as the dealer you must accumulate enough dealer points. The minimum amount of dealer points in order to play as the dealer is calculated as such: (Maximum Bet) + 1.75%(Casino commission) * 2 * (Maximum Bet). Commission is based on 1.75% of the total bets placed against the Dealer.
