Caribbean Poker is an interesting twist on 5-card poker. As with any 5-card poker game the object of the game is to beat your opponent, or in this case the dealer.
The player is dealt five cards all face up while the dealer is dealt five cards with only one card faced up. The player has the option of folding or raising (double initial bet) upon seeing the face up card of the dealer.
As Player.
Players have the option of choosing three different tables either public or private:
- 1 – Minimum bet of $1 / Maximum bet of $10
- 2 – Minimum bet of $2 / Maximum bet of $100
- 3 – Minimum bet of $25 / Maximum bet of $250
Here are some basics of Be The Dealer’s Caribbean Poker:
- - played with one 52-card deck with no Joker, and the deck is reshuffled after each hand.
- - dealer must qualify to play by receiving a poker hand consisting of an Ace/King or higher. If the dealer's hand does not qualify, you will receive a 1-1 payout (even money) on your ante wager and your raise wager will be returned without additional winnings.
- - if the dealer’s hand qualifies you must have an Ace/King or a pair or higher in order to win.
As Dealer.
Be The Dealer offers the option of being the dealer once you’ve accumulated enough dealer points. This could be a huge advantage since, as the dealer, you see all five cards of your opponent while the player only sees one of yours before choosing whether or not to fold or raise.
The minimum amount of dealer points required in order to be the dealer is calculated as such: (Maximum Bet) + 100 * (Maximum Bet) + 1.75% (Casino commission) * (3 * (Maximum Bet)).
Commission is based on 1.75% of the total bets placed against the Dealer.
