Why not use White Hat SEO?

a) Patience
White hat takes longer to take effect than black hat.

b) Work
It is a common misconception that white hat is more work.

c) Thrill
Reading some Black Hat forums, one sees that Black Hatters get great thrills by being able to outsmart the engines

True white hat results are a lot more permanent.

All the successes of grey hat and black hat techniques are temporary. If you employ these, you are doomed to create pages and create pages and create more pages at infinitum because you will be banned over and over and over again. I have created small sites that went straight to the top - using grey hat techniques. They would stay there for a couple of weeks and then they would disappear and never rise again.

To me - what a waste of time. I would rather have my work continue to pay for years to come. Work that you do on white hat sites accumulates.

The only lasting and positive approach to SEO is the creation of valuable, unique content. Let me repeat that - the ONLY lasting and positive approach to SEO is the creation of valuable, unique content.

Linking is important to a new site to get on the map. Even then, I think one link from a decent site that has good SERPS is enough to get you off on a decent start. It is worth more than 100 links through some automated program. I still look at PR when I link, but I think I am acting irrational. It is SERPS that matter. Links help, but they are not the true secret to good SERPS.

What valuable content does is two-fold, it creates a website that ensures search traffic security. You heard me, you can get to where you do not sit there at every google dance wondering how you will do.

Traffic security occurs when 90% of your traffic comes from not any one specific search term. No longer are we vulnerable as a company of losing our main source of income because we’ve lost a search ranking.

At Games and Casino, We DO NOT depend anymore on any one specific search term to drive our revenue. By targeting a specific search term for this purpose, you make yourself vulnerable and this is not a successful long-term strategy for profitability.

The second benefit to directing 90% of your efforts to creating valuable and relevant content is repeat visitors and customers. Give them something of value and soon 80% of your traffic is repeat. Give them something of value versus trickery and you’ll be rewarded with loyalty.

When designing your websites, 90%+ of your time and money should be targeted to new and valuable content. Everything else is a waste of money and internet garbage. The key to internet profitability is simply the practice of empathy. Giving your visitor what you would want to see if you were them. Empathy = Profit!

Find a sector of the business that really interests you and build the site that would attract you. The more savvy you get on the subject at hand, the more savvy your site should be. The search engines like to see sites grow slowly, steadily and continuously. They reward stability and good content. They like to see a natural, long term development.

In today's environment the best SEO is - bet you thought I was going to say "white hat" SEO. That's not what I am going to say at all. Today the best SEO is - NO SEO AT ALL! Grow your site into the source of information or entertainmant or whatever you yourself, personally, would like to use on a repeated basis, and you will succeed. Make the site you always wished someone had built for you to use. It's the only way to enjoy security on this crazy market place called the internet.

People have been adding us to their bookmarks for years, so in addition to all the new search engine visitors, we have 80.6% repeat visitors from bookmarks or direct adress type ins.

So am I going to worry about losing placement on any one keyword? Am I going to waste my time optimizing for any one keyword? Nope, of course not.

Games and Casino is a perfect example of a naturally grown site.

So while the black hats and grey hats are creating more and more and more sites, anxiously watching them rise in the serps before each of them gets banned, I surely and steadily add more information to Games and Casino. Google dance tool? What's that?
