Dragons can be found in all different cultures in various forms, and the Dragon's Power slot, available at BF Games casinos, uses three with a Chinese motif to give players an action-oriented style of play. The symbols have good graphics with a combination of drawn and rendered styles of visuals, and the gameplay is designed around a low volatility with a high rate of hitting wins. It doesn't stand out in an incredible way in terms of Asian-themed slots, but it does offer a fair amount for players who can appreciate what goes into it, particularly if they prefer this specific type of play.

Slot Layout

As the basis for this game, you're getting one of the most solid formats that you can find anywhere in the industry. This is a 20-payline format with lines that go from left to right only and with five reels and three horizontal rows. Betting in this game is all about picking a total bet size from choosing a coin size for each line using the dial on the far right-hand side of the screen. However, you can simply pick your total bet size at the bottom if you like. The range is from $0.20 to $50 per turn.

Scattered Coin Symbols

The symbol with a big golden coin that has a red ribbon tied through it is the scatter. It's worth some pretty good pays in this game, especially since you don't have to get the symbols on a given payline to get paid with them. Five of a kind is worth 100x, which is the second-largest regular win in this title. You can also earn 20x for four of a kind or 5x for three of a kind. The scatter doesn't trigger any features, but the value it gives you on the reels is pretty substantial.

Triple Dragon Expanding Wild Multipliers

The three dragons from the title of this game are the most important symbols in this game, naturally. The yellow dragon appears on the second reel, the red dragon shows up on the third reel, and the green one makes an appearance on the fourth reel. While they have different colors, they all perform the same function, and that's giving you lots of opportunities to get paid with some wild features.

Since these wilds don't show up on all reels, you can't get wild-only winning combinations. However, they always expand to cover the whole reel, so you're always getting three wilds on the reel whenever they appear. On top of that, all winning combinations that include at least one wild symbol are given a 3x multiplier that triples their value. These wilds don't count as scatter symbols, but when they cover up a scatter from expanding, it doesn't keep you from that scatter counting towards the scatter payouts.

Other Symbols and Payouts

The yin-yang symbol is the top-paying regular symbol in this slot. It gives you 750x for five of a kind with a wild symbol, and it drops down to 250x without one. The golden Buddha symbol earns players 50x for five, and five of the golden frog or the red lamp pays 25x. For either the orange A or green K, five of a kind earns a 10x payout. Finally, the lowest pays in this game are 5x for five of the blue Q, the brown J or the white 10 symbols.

Keep in mind that these payouts are all multiplied by your whole overall bet size. As a result, the 5x wins for the lowest card rank symbols are the same as 100x line bet wagers in other games, so that's something to remember if you think these prizes look a bit on the low side.

Overview

Something really nice about the Dragon's Power slot by BF Games is that the gameplay is actually fairly simple and straightforward with very few complications. That helps players to concentrate on the fact that they are getting a lot of different ways to win with the expanding wild multipliers and scatters. Despite there not being much in the way of big bonus features, there are still plenty of ways to win, and the high hit-rate helps with that as well.

With that having been said, no game is perfect, and this one definitely has its flaws. Not all players are going to like the lack of bonus features, but that's what happens with games that are geared towards a specific niche audience.
