Scarlet Poker Room

Scarlet Poker is one of the crown jewels among Gambling Federation-powered poker rooms. And players will find that it is indeed a hot spot for all-out poker tournament action.

There are single and multi-table tournaments offered. Also, there are satellite tournaments that can land the winners into the multi-table contests.

Scarlet Poker also sends a lot of its players into land-based contests. Recently they've been sending players to the Masters Classic of Poker in Amsterdam, as well as several World Poker Tour events.

And currently in progress is qualifying for "Poker face 2007," to be held at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas next May. Winners will get a $12,500 package, comprised of the $10,300 entry and $2200 expenses.

Scarlet Poker offers 7-Card Stud, Texas Hold'em, along with Pot Limit and No-Limit Hold'em, and Omaha. There are four versions of Omaha - Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha, No-Limit Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo.

Also, there is something new - "Head-to-Head Hold'em," in which, as you may guess, players engage in one-on-one action.

In this variation, the blinds work differently; the small blind is posted by the dealer, rather than the player situated to the left of the dealer, and the other player posts the big blind.

Scarlet Poker is also heavily promoting a new form of poker called "Badugi." In this game, the best hand is that which is a low one - ideally, one which contains no cards of the same suit or the same rank. So for example, the A-2-3-4 hand, of all different suits, is where the player wants to end up. Any hand with four different ranks and four different suits is called a "Badugi."

Badugi is played as a Limit, Pot Limit or Half-Pot Limit game. In the Pot Limit game, bets can range from the minimum to whatever amount there is in the pot. In Half-Pot Limit, the limit is half what the current pot has in it.

Badugi is also played in a "triple draw" format, which means each player has the opportunity to draw 0-4 cards at the conclusion of each of the first three rounds of betting.

Scarlet Poker rewards players with "Action Points," which they accumulate the more and more they play in real money games. The larger the pot, the more Action Points are rewarded. They can then redeem those points for prizes or tournament fees.

First-time players can receive a 25% bonus up to $100 on their initial deposit. Deposit methods include MasterCard and Visa (where applicable), FirePay, NETeller, NETeller InstaCash, and bank wire. On all accounts opened with a credit card, the casino pays winnings with bank drafts.

Customer service is available via toll-free phone line 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Email and chat assistance is also available.

Frankly, Scarlet, I DO give a damn! And you will too!
