Game developer, Yggdrasil, is gearing up to go live in the LatAm markets after signing a deal with the fast-growing operator Patagonia Entertainment.

The developer is joining a host of other companies, including casino suppliers and game developers who are gearing to enter the highly lucrative Latin American markets.

Punters in the countries of Mexico, Colombia and other Latin American countries will soon get to enjoy standout titles from the developer such as Baron Samedi, Cazino Cosmos, and Dark Vortex on the various Patagonia brand online casinos.

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of the developer, said:

“I’m delighted to make our first entry into LatAm by partnering with Patagonia, where we will combine its platform and regional experience with our technology and extensive software development expertise to offer its network of brands with unique gaming experience.

“Our aim is to deliver the best casino games experience available, and this partnership is a major step towards achieving that within the rapidly growing regulated LatAm market.”

Victor Arias, Global Business Development Manager at the operator, added:

“Partnering with Yggdrasil and enabling our expanding operator network to integrate their award-winning content is very exciting, and we can’t wait to get started. The growing LatAm market presents gaming brands with a host of opportunities, and we are delighted to bring best-in-class casino offering to our regional customers.”

The operator is also getting access to the BOOST suite of promotional and gamification tools which let online casinos use like achievements, missions, and level progression based rewards.

Hitting the Jackpot

This new partnership is not the only bit of good news the developer has this month. A lucky player from Finland playing at the Casumo mobile casino has become a multimillionaire on a 50 cent spin of Joker Millions.

The punter in question won 3 million euros which represents a third jackpot hit on one of the developer’s progressive jackpot titles in the last 12 months, including a record-breaking 7.8 million in November of last year.

The developer is also keeping busy with their releases as they have just recently put out an exclusive horse racing themed game for Swedish operator ATG and a slot based on One Thousand and One Nights with fairytale-inspired features such as sticky wilds and magic lamps granting extra spins.

Sahara Nights, the newest take on a popular and enduring myth, is out now everywhere where the developer’s games are available.
