Yggdrasil More Than Doubles 2017 Christmas Calendar Campaign to €500k

Yggdrasil Gaming is launching a Christmas celebration with a €500,000 campaign set to help operating partners keep their players happy and engaged over the holidays.

Known again this year as the Yggdrasil Christmas Calendar, the Swedish HTML5 online casino game developer has increased the offering €300,000 over last year's €200,000 offering. The calendar will become active on December 1 and run through Jan 3, 2018, featuring BOOST™, Yggdrasil’s bespoke collection of promotional tools inside of games.

Cash Prizes up to €10,000

Missions, Mystery Cash Races, and a variety of tournaments will reward players with cash awards ranging from €10 to €10,000. Players can boast about their winnings or simply share news of their good fortunes using Yggdrasil's innovative BRAG™ tool for social media.

Some of the developer's most popular games will feature on the Christmas Calendar including the recently launched Jungle Books and Valley of the Gods along with well-known classics like Vikings Go Wild, Vikings Go Berzerk, and Holmes and the Stolen Stones among others.

Calendar to Help Operators Create Campaigns

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming spoke of the success of last year's campaign and noted that the prize pool had more than doubled to half a million euros. He added, "We want to encourage operators to use the calendar to be creative in their strategic campaign management, and really stand apart from the competition this Christmas," according to a press release yesterday.

All Yggdrasil Partner Casinos Participating

Players at all casinos that carry participating Yggdrasil games such as Mr Green, GUTS, or Maria Casino will have access to the calendar including those in the highly regulated markets of Italy and the UK. Italian players will see a dedicated share of the main prize pool along with a special €20,000 calendar for their market alone.

There is no cost beyond the regular price of a spin for players to participate in any of the promotions. With the use of in-game promotional tools, the campaigns will be fully automated for operators and prizes will be instantly added to player's balances. As long as a casino has the participating games in its library, everything else is automatic.
