Scientific Games Wins 10-Year Deal to Innovate New Mexico Lottery

Scientific Games has successfully secured a decade-long agreement with the New Mexico Lottery, positioning itself as the exclusive full-line provider for lottery technology and services. This strategic move will involve the implementation of cutting-edge gaming system technologies to redefine the lottery experience in New Mexico. A comprehensive solution is being adopted under this contract, which includes the integration of advanced gaming systems and an enhancement of their existing Instant Game offerings.

Advanced Technological Integrations

Scientific Games is set to roll out its Momentum ecosystem, along with SciTrak and the Infuse business intelligence platform, to modernize and streamline the New Mexico Lottery’s operations. As part of this expansive contract, over 1,000 self-service PlayCentral machines and state-of-the-art WAVE X point-of-sale terminals will be deployed, significantly increasing accessibility for players across the region. This technology adoption is also supported by a feature of popular licensed themed games such as 'Game of Thrones' and 'Loteria,' promising an engaging experience for lottery participants.

Enhancing Lottery Success and Support

A major component of this arrangement is the integration of the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) program within the New Mexico Lottery's Scratchers dealing. This integration includes thorough portfolio management, data analytics, strategic game planning, logistics, and marketing aid. This SGEP framework is famed for elevating performance; as evidenced by a notable 31% increase in instant game sales for U.S. partners in the fiscal year 2023-24. According to New Mexico Lottery CEO David Barden, the lottery aims to optimize its operations and boost scholarship funding for students in New Mexico as a result of this innovation-driven collaboration. John Schulz, Scientific Games President, underscored the company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of lottery systems technology.
